Responsibilities

Plan and execute work for the year to meet deadlines.

Assist with year-end audits and reviews.

Review general ledger and trial balance for completeness and accuracy.

Preparation of final trial balance and effecting year-end adjustments.

Develop budgets and generate monthly reports.

Handle tax submissions and ensure compliance (VAT, EMP201s, income tax returns).

Prepare monthly management accounts.

Maintain the fixed asset register.

Process monthly accounts on Xero, including reconciliations.

Attend client meetings and implement desired outcomes.

Qualifications

At least four years of recent accounting and tax experience.

Senior Certificate and a relevant B.Com degree in Accounting.
